    I am thinking Lyman #1 or #2.

It is a Lyman No. 2, and the letter stamped on the underside of the base will tell us which specific firearm it was made for.

Another vote for a Lyman #2 tang sight.

Thanks all. Any estimate on it's value?

I think current list for a #2 is $90 with screws and 2 disks, but don't think they make this application (cj57 +1).

Well, I might as well put in on ebay. I was hoping it went on a winchester.

Why not list it right here on Gunbroker?
If and when you do list it on GB please post a link to it on the General Discussion Forum as a shameless plug!

I honestly have no good reason not too. I guess I've just never sold via Gunbroker. Only purchased.

Well give it a whirl! They are here for us gun people! The forums are here because of the auctions so you might as well support gunbroker.com!
    Good luck!!
