Lever gun info.....
So gents,
I'm going to be very lazy right now and ask here istead of Googling this. I'm zombie tired and need to get to sleep B-4 work in 3 hours.
For sometime now I've had a question in my head and have decided to turn here for some info from the group of collected genius here at GB & AtE.
The question ricochetting about my head,
Are the Marlin 336 lever guns and Mossberg 472 lever guns very similar or even related??
either straight stocked or pistol gripped the two look very much alike to me.

They sure look like a combo of the 336 and 1894. A site I found said they are a combo of a 336 and the old Mossberg 440. 0 -
Other than the fact that both are lever action rifles, available in the same calibers and both have been discontinued,NO. They are made by different manufactures and parts are not interchangeable. 0
