  So you are saying that you can remove the inner tube and fill the outer mag tube to capacity and the inner mag tube will not slide over the shells? If that's the case then it sounds like your inner mag tube is bent or has some sort of issue. Does the inner tube slide in and out of the outer tube without much resistance without shells in the magazine? Is it a a collared or non collared tube?

  Sound like an inner tube problem. The knob is pinned to the tube. You could try using a cleaning rod to push the follower back to check for problems. Perhaps bubba plug the tube to slow down jr. ammo wasting.

  Yes it slides in and out fine I ran a brush and swab up into it added some oil and clean it out a bit. It is a collered tube. Maybe the best answer is to buy an replacement inner tube.
