My opinion, is that GLOCK, makes GLOCK magazines, better than anyone. They are nor really expensive either, especially on the used market. You can often get good used Glock made magazines, for around $15.00, if you look for them. If you really look, less than that.

As for the Korean magazines....Seen them, tried one, and it was junk. Not worth me tring two or three more at a reduced cost.

I bought a pair of the Korean extended mags for my Glocks and they fit so tight that I had to take a sander to them to make them go in! Nest time I'll stick with the Glock mags.[:(!]

I've known plenty who were lured in by the cost savings only to find them basically worthless.

It's nonsensical for people to choose a defensive pistol based upon it's track record for reliability, then scrimp on magazine quality.

Magazines aren't merely an accessory. They're a critical component of the firearm.

Thanks guys. I have quite a few Glock OEM magazines. Just seen the Korean ones for sale and had never heard anything about them. I will stick w/ Glock mags. Once again, Thanks to all y'all.

for carry/defensive purposes, all of my magazines say GLOCK on them and always will.

i have a bunch of korean mags i use for range work. believe it or not, i actually LIKE the fact that they malfunction so often. i use them to run firing stoppage drills. my theory is this, when they function properly im getting unencumbered range time. when they fail, im getting practice at clearing malfunctions. win-win.

I have a P-Mag that I do the same thing with for my Bushmaster.

I bought two of them in the past. They are worthless. After loading 5 rounds the magazine follower would flip and you could load no more rounds. This happened on both of the magazines I purchased. I returned them. Don't waste your time or money, buy Glock made magazines.

I bought four Korean G17s in pouches and two 32rounders.
They worked ok at the range but I had a stoppage in a long one that was left loaded.
All the springs were then replaced with Wolf brand.
The mags look as well made as the originals.
I've only used them in a P2000 so far and with a variety of bullet styles, weights, loadings and OAL's so they can't be said to have been fairly tested.
