Is the standard LOP to the front trigger or the rear trigger or does it matter? I have an LC Smith 16 gauge and it measures 12.75 to the rear trigger. That's a little shorter than I see in most descriptions but if I measure to the front trigger it's about the same.

  most are measured from the front trigger.

  14-1/4" is standard LOP to the front trigger on a Smith-- 13-1/4" to the rear trigger.
