Winchester Value
I have a Winchester Model 94 AE .357 cal. saddle ring carbine with 18 inch barrel. It is marked with 1894-1994 on receiver side plate. It is new in box unfired with all paperwork and hang tag. I inherited this gun from a relatives collection. What is the value or good asking price for this firearms. I cannot find it in the blue book of gun values with the dates stamped on the side.
Thanks

Help me out if you can!! I have a Winchester Repeating Arms, stamped on the top of the barrel is stamped: 32 W.C.F. Serial # is a 4 digit number. It has open sights, octagon barrel and is a lever action.
Can somebody tell me what I have my hands on?
Thanks, Les0 -
You sure it is an 18 inch barrel?? Most trapper models had a 16 inch barrel. 0 -
I stand corrected it does have a 16 inch barrel thanks 0 -
I bought the same gun but in .44 mag and with the large loop and the anniversary inscription back in 1994. I think I paid $350 for it. These are USRAC Winchesters(US Repeating Arms Co.) guns and are not as collectible as the early true Winchesters. Having said that you should have no trouble getting $400-$500 from the right buyer. You would have thought they would have done a little more embellishment on the receiver for a 100 yr anniversary gun. There's one in similar condition to yours but with no box on the auction side now going under $500. 0 -
I have one of those 16 inch 94AEs in 357 and it is a very accurate and fun to use rifle. In NIB condition I think the retail price is in the $600 to $800 range. Have seen a few used lately, in 44 Mag and 45 Colt as well as 357 and the used prices are north of $500. Prices are somewhat soft now but purchase enthusiasm seems to be building again now that Obama is in full re-election mode. 0 -
Mine is in .45 Colt, bought NIB. Prices here were at about $700 in 2010 for NIB. 0 -
Thanks to all who responded. That gives me a ball park price to work with. I may keep it I have not decided as yet.
Big Thanks to all0
