i have a jp sauer and sohn 357 mag cowboy action revolver real solid action. about 85 percent. anybody know what it is worth, and a little history.

Imported in the 60's/70's time frame by Hawes and others. You can tell the DOM as one of the German Proof Marks is a 2 digit date.
Although very good quality they don't bring in a lot on the resale market, as compared to the Ruger BH. Most folks don't know anything about them as Sauer revolvers have been off the market for so many years.
At 85% not going to be worth a lot. If it's in time and locks up tight, my WAG is that it would be in the $200-$300 range.0 -
I would leap tall buildings to get one for 200 bucks. lol
very well built guns,but as rufe*snow said,not a huge following..except for some uf us old farts who remmember them.
value? should bring 350 no problem,400.00 is also very likely.

I had one that was brought back from Germany in the early '60,s.
It was a very good shooter, my first 357 [:)]
One sold at a auction last year for $290, another for $329.0
