Airsoft Shipping Restrictions

Okay I hope this is the place to ask.

Can I legally ship an Airsoft gun to the someone in the state of New Jersey?
Just sold one on the auction side and the buyer lives in New Jersey.
I know some states will not allow you to ship them into the state unless it goes to an FFL.
I think that is stupid but that is the law.
Anyone know the Laws in New Jersey?

  Airsoft guns are legal in NJ, although there may be some localities that prohibit them.
  
  Federal law is your biggest problem. You cannot ship to anyone if it does not have a 6mm wide blaze orange plug at the muzzle, or orange stripes on the side. You cannot transfer to anyone under 18. Another stretch of the Interstate Commerce clause.
  
  I would ship only if the buyer sends a photocopy of his DL with payment.

  An FFL is a Federal "FIREARMS" License. An airsoft gun is NOT a firearm, so yes you can.

  Thanks Guys.
  It does have the bright orange plug on the end.
  I always ask for a DL on these.
  I was concerned because I was reading the New Jersey laws and they were very vague.
  They have classified BB and Pellet guns as firearms and they have to be shipped to FFL dealers only.
  I know they were trying to get Airsoft classified also as firearms.
