Winchester Model 21 ?
Is there information about the variations of the model 21. I saw one this weekend that had factory 26" barrels choked cyl, cyl. The barrels were very nice origional condition the receiver was reblued and the stock was cut with recoil pad added. Based on what I described what would you place as a value.

All of the Model 21 shotguns were built in Winchester's Custom Shop. Each gun is unique, as they were built to the customer's request. Each gun must be evaluated on its specific configration, and a value arrived at between the seller and the buyer. What I am trying to tell you, is that while there were specific "variations" of the Model 21, each gun has something about it that is different. One thing you did not mention is the gauge... and that is just one of the important factors in determining the value. 0 -
If its a 12 gauge field grade a good guess is gonna be around $3500 because of all of the modifications from original. A 20 or 16 ga. Is gonna fetch about a couple thousand more +/-.
Photos will help determine how good the restoration was.0 -
it was a 12 ga. field. the receiver was reblued and needed to be redone correctly and there was also the buyers name engraved in the trigger guard. also the receiver had spotting where the blue was discolored due to possibly chemicals. I stayed away from it due to condition. 0
