44Mag brass is too small at the base and too thick at the neck to resize to 38-40 and 44-40.
Can you be more specific about the brass you want to transform into other sizes

Actually, if memory serves me correctly, it is 45LC brass, that can be formed to 38-40, and 44-40. Also, the 30-30, can be formed to 32 Winchester Special. There are several books out there, and Cartridges of the world would make a great start.

This is the best book available and every conversion I've used out of it has been spot on.

I am assuming the 32 you are talking about is 32 Winchester Special? If so yes you can make the brass by taking 30-30 and full lenght sizing in the 32 Winchester Special sizing die. 33 Winchester can be formed from 45-70 brass with RCBS form and trim dies. They have it in their catalog. 44-40 just buy the brass you cannot reform 44 mag...you could fire form 38-40 but why just buy new 44-40 brass. Best book I have found is Ken Howell's "designing and forming custom cartridges for rifles and handguns".

The book p3skyking reccommends pretty much covers it all, but WOW, I don't remember paying that much for my copy!
