How is the quality of the Lancaster Arms Ak?

The one I saw looked pretty nice but the safety lever didn't line up and cover the slot when it was in the up position so I passed on it. Just a small thing, but it bothered me and made me wonder about the overall workmanship.

I don't know who to tell you to buy from if you are concerned with workmanship on an AK. LOL I've heard that Arsenal AK's are top notch. I love my WASR 10 but I think I just got lucky with mine. AK's in general are known for having little issues here and there. Not necessarily reliablilty issues, but craftsmanship issues, like slightly canted front sight posts and little things like that. If you want a perfect AK it will cost you a bit of coin. If you want a "perfect" fit and finish, I'd go with an Arsenal AK.

The Lancaster's are OK, and are miles up from the WASR's. The Arsenal's are hard to beat, and if you can find a nice used SLR 95, they are some of the best Bulgarian Milled guns going.

As you can probably tell, I prefer the milled reciever's over the stamped.
