Little mortified with Varget , but not done yet
But the upside, I had everything working against my test loads today.
Rain, Wind, Hail, new unfired-formed brass.
All that aside My window Looks to be between 33.5 and 34.0 of Varget
with a 55gr NSBT ( upper 2 center targets).
So now the brass has been fire formed to my chamber this better tighten up and cut that 5 shot string in half.

22-250. With my H380 load with a SPSX bullet that would be one hole. 0 -

They do, Temp Hot days of Varminting with H380 near max loads can be a problem. Don't get me wrong I love H380 in my .22-250! Very hot days it can be a problem with pressure. Seen a few Rem 700's go south because of it.
"Varget" is more temp stable on hot days and hoping to find the load that's equal/equivalent to H380.0 -
I have found 8208xbr to be better then Varget. 0 -
I just checked my data for a 22-250 barrel I had on my Encore. THe weather was HOT 90 degrees plus from my notes. A load of 38.5 of IMR 4350 shooting a Nosler 55 BT or a Nosler 55 V-Max really shot great. Me thinks the new 4350 is one of the X-treme powders now....I could be wrong on that.
I sold the 22-250 barrel, rechambered a 22 Hornet barrel to 22BR, it cut powder consumption by about 10 grains per shot and only gave up 200FPS at the most.

Do you think the rain, wind and hail had anything to do with it? What was the distance? 100 yards? Or 10? 0 -
You've got a couple flyers,
other than that stick with
any of these loads (especially rows 1 and 2,
2nd target in)and shoot a dozen more
groups, then pick one.
They all look good.
Not to slight you, but once you get
most of OE out, they'll shrink.0
