Magpul PMAGS
I wanted to get some other opinions on Magpul's pmags.
I bought a couple and they wont fit in my Bushmaster. They are so loose they will fall out if the bolt closes or any kind of pressure is put on them.
From what I can tell the mag release is not catching in the notch well enough to keep them in.
Has anyone else had this problem?

not in my armalite. they function 100% 0 -
No problems with PMAGs. Like you said, it sounds like your magazine catch isn't locking in the magazines. Likely a lower out of spec problem, mag catch out of spec, or your not seating the magazines all the way in.
Try inserting them in with the BCG locked back or the upper not installed to see if the mag catch is working properly.0 -
Lots of people swear by these things.
I'd also check to make sure you gun is in spec or not clogged with grit/dirt, etc.0 -
I got 14 of them and run 'em in two DPMS AR's and haven't had any hiccups with any of them. 0 -
They run 100% in my Rock River. 0 -
They work 100% in any of my AR,S [^] 0 -
I'd suspect the gun not the mags. 0 -
They work fine in my Bushy. 0 -
I only ever bought one. It double feeds, and is the mag that does this in my rifle. I won't buy another.
However, it does come in handy on the days that I want to do malfunction drills.0 -
I have a number of them and they run 100% through my ARs. Never had an issue with any of them. 0
