Buy a new one. They are about $34 list from Browells.

MIG or TIG weld it. Make sure the bar is straight when it's reinstalled.
There are some high strength brazing rods but they are too high temp
for soldering irons or torches. You need high heat for a short duration.
A body and fender man should be able to do a good job without creating a large heat affected zone.
It may already be too soft from previous repairs.

+1 on dcs's reply. It is a complete fix if you replace with OEM part.

For a few extra dollars, put it back in prime running shape with a new action bar. Then sell it and get an 870.

I also vote for "new one".

If it broke once, the metal is probably fatigued and even if you fixed it, there is a reasonable chance it will just break again somewhere else.

In general Mossberg parts aren't too expensive.

Keep in mind the action slides are different. Depending on when the gun was made.

Some are 7 an 5/8 others are 6 1/2, and of current the slide tube doesn't even exist anymore.

    317WC,

Also keep in mind that the older 500's had a single action bar and the "Newer" ones have a double action bar. The older single bars are prone to breakage. I had to replace mine years ago.

Depends on what your application is...

If its light duty repair as you can and keep a back up.

For trap or skeet replace the part.
