Yeh, I have a reprint of the Stoeger 1940 "Shooter's Bible". Numerous ivory grips are listed in it.

Are some made in 1960 worth $300.00? They look like they have never been out of the box till very lately and never on a saa.

Ivory is hot stuff nowadays, with all the laws the tree huggers have passed regarding it. Recently obtained/imported ivory is verboten and could be confiscated, and land you in jail in the worse case scenario. If you do buy the grips make damm sure you get some documentation verifying that they are new old stock and have been in the country since the early 60's.
