no other letters I can find. Looks to be very early model.

The model 39 came out in 1921. Those years are hard to pin down as to year made.
Look at auction #277395151. His gun was made in 1922 with serial #7644.

That one looks just like mine. I was always told 1932, but I had a hunch it was older.
