got a older browning 22 auto pistol that i need to weather it is a nomad or not. thats what i was told? serial # 3753P2. thanks for any info.

Yes, the 'P' code is for the Nomad. Yours is made between 62-68. The Challenger has the 'U' code. 0 -

According to the Standard Catalog (2004) the Nomand and Challenger came with a 4.5" or 6.75" barrel. The Challenger III came with a 5.5" or 6.75" barrel. Some Buckmarks came with a longer barrel. Could it be a Buckmark you are talking about? Could be missing from the catalog since my Buckmark is not even listed.0 -

Nope, I'm talking about the 10-12" barreled one that shoots a 22LR VERY accurately, as in Silhouette; as I recall, it came with a 5 or 10 shot mag, and was about $300 when new.0
