rem. 552 auto question

got a older 552 speedmaster. no serial number. like to find out what year it was made but without number will be hard? any help would be appreciated.

  They were first made in 1955. Date code should be on the barrel.
  www.remingtonsociety.com/rsa/questions/barrelcodes shows them.

  cant figure out sight. it has a anchore of sorts then an X and L.
