Sako L461 stock work for a 46?

I'm looking for a stock for a Sako L46, chambered 222. Standard barrel channel. Seem to be hard to find. Wondering if a stock for an L461 would work. Only difference I can see is the L46 is clip fed while the 461 is not. Please advise.

  wont work-bottome metal is not even close. if your interested in a semi inletted stock to finish yourself get back to me.

  I just restocked my Marlin 322 - a Marlin micro-groove barrel on a Sako L46. I used a Micro-Fit and it worked perfectly. There is a charge for dragging out the old templates and turning a blank for something with little demand also a bit more time involved.

  No nonsense: dont jump to conclusions just because youre a moderator.
  I was going to point the poster in the direction of a stockmaker who has the templates and patterns for the obsolete Sako L46 rifle. I suppose you cant imagine someone trying to offer help without making a buck.

  I have written 10's of thousands of words of explanations about gunsmithing and ballistics here on the forums. I offered all of it without compensation. Most of this information cost me a great deal of money personally as I learned how to solve some of the many problems encountered in this trade. I volunteer my time on my own time both before and after 12 hour work days in order to try to help out here.
  
  It seems like maybe I'm not the one doing the jumping.
