Nazi marked Luger 22 cal.
Hi.3 years ago I posted photos of a unusual Luger I own. I just came across a book written in the 1950s by Fred A Datig that describes and shows photos of this(rather one like it)pistol.I posted some of the text from this book on monday under 22 cal. Luger. I also posted inquires about this pistol 3 years ago on Lugerforum.com. The photos of pistol on this forum have dissapeared but they are still on Luger forum can anyone transfer those photos to this form? (For some reason the camera makes the pistol appear to be rusty, it is not I think it is the grease I had wiped all over it). The link on lugerforum is http://forum.lugerforum.com/show thread.php?t=20604 Thank you for youre help.

The folks on the Luger forum are pros as far as Luger's are concerned. If they weren't able to help you with identifying and valuation on your reworked .22 Luger, not likely anybody would or could. Just saying.
Demand has a lot to do with valuation. If you have a Luger that was reworked by a obscure unknown gunsmith. Rather then the Mauser factory it would have little attraction and value for the Luger guys who hang at the Luger forum. As far as they would be concerned it would be just a low production novelty and valued accordingly, notwithstanding it being in Fred Datig's book.0 -
