Oregon made kimber,s ??

How can a person tell if a kimber made in Oregon and if its from New York? Please help ASAP...Pat[:D]

Read the Barrel address: Kimber of Oregon is clearly stated. Later Kimber rifles were marked "Kimber of America" Clackamas oregon.

Kimber of America rifles made in New York are entirely different actions. Peruse the pictures in the auctions and you will see.

Cody has it right on the markings. I called Kimber in N.Y. once with a question about one of my KoA's. I was treated to a rather rude explanation of how K/N.Y. had nothing to do with the old KoA's which were of "distinctly inferior design"; especially the "triggers".
If I hadn't know better I'd have thrown my Oregon guns in the trash!
