The CMP has some Kimber 22's with some minor surface rust that cleans up very easy for 400.00 sights included.Great rifle

  Is the trigger adjustable on the Custom model? There is a hole to adjust it but I didn't know if they just use the same trigger on all models regardless of it's adjustability. It's a first generation model (i.e. not a 'II').

  If it is brushed stainless, just use a scotchbrite pad on it. Do not scrub back and forth, or it will make squiggly lines instead of straight ones. Rub in one direction, lift pad, rub again, lift pad, etc.
