Is there a way to verify a C&R license? I tried the verify an FFL on the auction side and it said on the bottom that it can't be used for C&R verification. Thanks. 0 -
For the last two years. 0 -
ALL 2nd Generation Colt SAA's up to 1976 have been classified as C&R eligible by ATF.

That is good to know. 0 -
I contacted two GB sellers (one no FFL other has FFL) the revolvers are not C&R. 0 -

The sellers have the option to sell their firearms, as they see fit. Many of them don't want to have anything to do with C & R handguns, and will only transfer through a 001 licensee.0 -

C&R on two counts. Over 50 years old and on the list. Seller either does not know or does not care. 0 -
Some states, like NY and Cal., do not recognize C&R licenses for handguns. Also, a dealer can use USPS to ship handguns to an FFL dealer but not to a C&R licensee.
Thus, it's the seller's right to set his terms.0 -
What is C&R? 0 -

What is C&R?
Curio & Relic.
Some firearms, by age or designation, are considered curios and relics. A C & R FFL license costs $30.00 for 3 years and allows an individual to receive C & R firearms directly through the mail, for the purpose of collecting only, unless receipt through the mail is otherwise prohibited or restricted by state or local law.0 -
