Remington 11 in 16 gauge. Which date to use?

BA on the barrel & the serial # is 1501356.
B = January.
A could be either 1932 or 1954.
The serial # is large so it's likely a 1954 ?
Barrel sn matches the receiver.

  The Model 11 was produced through 1948. I didn't check the chart but if the choices are 1932 or 1954 then 1932 would be the year of manufacture.
