What hodgdon powder is the equivelent to hrculies unique. Thanks

  hogdon universal is pretty close. plus it burns cleaner, and its good for all pistol calibers.

  note just because 2 powder are next to each other on the chart doesn't necessary mean the burn nearly the same.

  Universal is more like Green Dot in terms of charge weights for typical handgun loads.

  Lyman shows Universal loads very close to Unique in .38 Spl., .40, and 10 mm.
  Nowhere near alike for 9mm.

  Hodgdon, is a big name, that covers a lot of bases, in smokless propellant powder's. They include Hodgdon, Winchester, and IMR powder manufacturers.
  
  If you want to consider that Winchester is under the Hodgdon flag, It might not be a direct replacement for Unique, but the Winchester 231 works in a lot of things for intermediate target loads.
