Sako L579 DOM

anyone know how to tell the dom on a sako L579 rifle. seriel # is 84691. not sure if it matters its in 6mm rem cal. and is a bob gilkey customized rifle. thanks for any help.

  I remember reading about that time where the author made a big deal about whether or not Sakos were imported through Garcia. I forget if it was supposed to be good or bad.

  Should be near late 1969. The rifle would be considered a pre-Garcia Sako. It was probably not a 6mm originally.-Mike
