Steel shot in 1993 BPS 3 Notch Invector Plus Choke
I think the answer is yes; but you all know what 'Thought' did.
Ok to shoot steel shot in my Browning Pump that takes Invector + chokes?
Will a 3 notch choke yield Modified with lead shot and Full with steel?
Does the 3 Notch choke have to be stainless (bright shiny) or will a dark oxide choke (maybe it is stainless under the coating??) be ok.
Can you go Improved Modified for lead or is this a no go for steel - I guess that would yield estra full.

3 notches should be modified, which should be close to steel full. Finish doesn't matter. 0 -
One thing is for sure you need to pattern your gun with steel shot. I really don't care what the choke says.
Each load can react different.
The chokes you have should be just fine for steel shot.
But patterning is a must.0
