I use Lumenocks. I do like them but hate the fact that all shafts are not created equal.
I've had some that were too loose and did not light up every time. Some that you needed pliers to turn off.
I'm thinking that the next time I buy some it will be the ones that are magnetically turned on.
I do love having an illuminated knock. It makes the shot and arrow recovery easier.0 -
I experienced a fluke on the last deer I shot using an illuminated nock. The drag of the bolt passing through the deer apparently shut the light off. I saw it in flight but it wasn't on after pass through and sticking in the dirt. 0 -
Thanks for the insight. Now I have to find out if they are legal for hunting in CA. (I am Just probing whats good whats not, whats legal whats not etc.)
As I found out for Turkey Hunting here in CA. I can only use broad heads that are no more than 7/8" dia.

I have luminocks on my arrows and love them. Easy to track deer at night and make a recovery 0
