Never seen this, a new twist on detachable for me. Thought I'd share.

Nice looking rifle. The front floor plate screw on my Newton rifle is also the pivot for the bottom box magazine cover. Was made in the teens I think.

Not quite. The A-bolt magazines are clipped to the floor plate and swing out with it.
