    Are you uploading directly from the camera or from your computer?
    The default Nikon format is .MOV. It's in the manual.

    I suspect that you are using too high a resolution. The default is 16M (High) [4608 x 3456 ]. Try using a lower resolution.

    Too many avenues to go through but I'll tell u how I do it and maybe u can get a clue.
    I use all kinds of windows but I know Vista the best,
    I work with windows movie maker.
    After everything I think is right I publish it to my computer
    It goes into avi format that is recognized by u-tube
    I hope this helps

    That might have done the trick. When I tried it from iMovies it did not work. When I transferred it to my desk top it did.
