You tube file question
Got a new camera and have up loaded small segments to youtube that work. I just tried a five minute recording with the same camera, I assume the same files but it it rejecting it and saying I need to use the type of file youtube supports??
How do I know what file I am using to begin with and why is it now working and telling me I am using the wrong file when I have changed nothing?
Anyone know? I have a Nikon L820

Are you uploading directly from the camera or from your computer?
The default Nikon format is .MOV. It's in the manual.
I suspect that you are using too high a resolution. The default is 16M (High) [4608 x 3456 ]. Try using a lower resolution.0 -
Too many avenues to go through but I'll tell u how I do it and maybe u can get a clue.
I use all kinds of windows but I know Vista the best,
I work with windows movie maker.
After everything I think is right I publish it to my computer
It goes into avi format that is recognized by u-tube

That might have done the trick. When I tried it from iMovies it did not work. When I transferred it to my desk top it did.0
