Thanks, I've seen some aftermarket stocks that supposedly fit both. I guess there must be some kind of adapter with them.

Yes they do. My 11-87 has a 13" LOP Speedfeed 870 stock on it right now. I tried to place to place a Houge 12" LOP 870 stock on it but the recoil tube sticks out just a hair two long to get the recoil pad back on.

What kind of stock are you thinking of putting on the 11-87?

I'm looking for something with an adjustable lop like the knoxx black hawk that I have on my 870. I haven't got the 11-87 yet, but when it gets here I want it to work with my body armor.

The 11-87 has the action spring tube that angles down into the standard stock. If the knoxx black hawk has a strait tube it would most likely not work.
