Well, I tried, one was way to big, and this one is too small.
Norma 8mm hunting bullets, and that's an old box.0 -
They should mike at .323. They should also be good bullets. I got to shoot away several 1000 Norma Match bullets in odd calibers for about a penny a each. I miss those days.
added Yes small bore 8mm, they will not likely shoot well in a .323 bore.0 -
well thanks guys I think they mic out at 318 dia an I have about 400 plus so at least I know they can be reloaded for my k98's. thanks so much mike 0 -
The Germans had two different diameter bullets, what us folks on the west side of the pond know as 8 mm.
The early military and commercial bullets, prior to 1905 were .317 diameter. After 1905 they went to .323 dia. It can be quite confusing, and cause serious problems. If some unknowing person reloaded a cartridge with a .323 bullet, for a older rifle with a .317 groove diameter.

NO!!! You must measure your bore. A 1925 mauser is "an Old 8mm" but it will have a .323" bore. If your tips mic out at .318" they are for the early small bore 7.9mm guns.

Hello If your Bullets are .318 they will command a higher price if sold then the MUCH more common .323 bullets The .318 are used in many Pre WW II Drillings and Cape guns of ODD calibers. My advice is Put them up for auction Here and then come back and post the auction Item #

Beats me, the S bore guns are commonly given as 7.92mm.
Agree with PerryShooter. I would not plink up a bunch of name brand .318" bullets, I bet there is somebody out there who would pay well for them to load their pre-1905 rifles with.0 -

I've been known to use them as targets on the range. For some reason it gets the sheeple quite wound up. When you start blasting Barbie's into little pieces.
One time we went out into the forest and found a whole bunch of dolls and stuffed animals, on the range. We figured some kid got p*%#ed off at his ex girl friend. Stole her collection, and took it out for target practice.0
