Does anyone know WHO made the first 3 inch magnum, and what year?

3" and longer chambers were offered pre 1900, but the 1st commercial offering of the 12ga 3" "Magnum" ammo was in 1921 by Olin. Super X?
The 1st gun claimed to be chambered for it, was the Super Fox HE in 1923?

I seen a picture of a 16 ga. with a 3" chamber... a model 21.
