Ruger 44 flat top

I bought a Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag dom 1959
sight unseen and I found out it has been modified
for a scope mount. I want to install a rear sight assy.
I took one off a 3 screw 357 blachawk but it
didn't come close to fitting.
Is there a special sight for a flat top
and if so ,where can I get one?

  I bought a flat top Ruger 44 a couple months
  ago and just noticed the hammer is blued.
  Is this normal or has the gun been refinished?

  Ron Ruger has been making Flattops again. You may call them to see if these New Flattop sights will work on the old guns..they are different from the regular Blackhawk sights.

  you can see the regular Blackhawks sights sit lower and the topstrap is obviously not flat.
