I'm thinking of selling a very nice Sterlingworth 12ga SXS serial 90XXX and need approximately what to list it for or at least set a reserve.thanks in advance for any suggestions.

In my opinion You would be MUCH better served To auction your shotgun off With No reserve "HEAR ME OUT PLEASE" but instead offer the guns with the starting price at your reserve price. There are Many many potential Buyers who chose to Block all Reserve price auctions ( I am one of them) many reserve auctions are relisted Hundreds of times and we don't want to waste our time looking and bidding on Hundreds if not thousands of guns that have PIE in the SKY over priced reserve . Good close up in focus pictures in natural lighting will get you better price for your item than any thing else. 0 -

I'm with Karl, I do not look at reserve auctions.
Most of my auctions are started at the very minimum price I will take for the item. I have ran several penny auctions, and had good results.

try looking at others for sale and what they are selling for. SxS are very soft right now. If you go to Amoskeag Auction web site they have several coming up for auction this weekend and they have quality photos and price range estimates. 0
