    You probably have a re-barreled Police positive Special, since the Detective Special was not introduced until 1927. Only a factory letter will verify.

    The "T" mark is said to mean "targeted" at the factory, meaning the gun got some special attention to make it shoot to point of aim. There is some debate as to whether that is true. The other mark is surely just an inspector's mark.
