S&W model 32SA model 1 1/2 centerfire
The blue book refers to an "external strain screw" not sure what that refers to. Thanks in advance.

Look close at this photo. On the front of the grip, about 1" up from the bottom. You can barely make out the head of a screw, slightly protruding out. It was use to adjust tension on the hammer mainspring.
