Centennial 66

I am selling two extra Centennials I have which of course are really the 94 with brass plate, built in 1966 I have been collecting guns for some time but I have a collector ask me if this was the model 66 brass frame Centennial or the 94 gold plated frame Centennial. I have never heard of a actual 66 brass frame Centennial with the exception of the ones that Navy arms had about the same time.
Was there such a gun?

  No, there was never a brass-frame Winchester Centennial. The 1866-1966 Centennial frames were (very thinly) gold-plated.
