Stevens 41 4
While hunting today my 414 barrel became loose. upon further inspection i found a bolt was missing that screw up from the bottom and tightens into a dimple in the barrel. I used the bolt from my stevens marksman right now. It works but the pics of the 414 I have seen you can't see the head of the bolt from the side profile view.
Does anybody have a picture of what this bolt is supposed to look like? I don't remember seeing it before.

It fits flush or slightly below the frame. That is probably why you never noticed it before. It has a large slot for a flat blade screwdriver. It is the same on all the Stevens 44 actions. 0 -
