Winchester 45/70 or 45/90
I have bought two winchester and found our the are not original. Barrel changed or cut off and ect. Is there any thing I can look for before buying. It seems like I pick the sellers with no returns.

You should buy Bert's book on Winchesters. 0 -
We just had a thread about this recently, i.e. buying guns that aren't returnable.
My take is that you have to buy it from a reputable dealer that allows a 3 or more day inspection period.
Also have access to a very knowledgeable collector or dealer who will verify the Winchester(s) with a hands-on. Even if you have to pay for this service.
Doing this is way better than getting stuck with some turd, that you payed way to much for.0 -
