Anyone know how to remove the action bar from the receiver?

  There are obvious differences in parts but it looks like I might have to take out that stubborn tiny screw in front of the receiver, retaining a small wobbly plate in the receiver side . The loading gate looks like it might have to come out too but it's held in by a pin and a blind hole. The tiny, jeweler's size set screw wont move despite several cycles of a heat gun and Kroil.
  The model 12-22lr is also a Pederson design, looking identical but smaller, and doesn't share the same takedown.
  Anyone with a Rem 25?

  The NRA "FIREARMS ASSEMBLY 3" has a comprehensive disassembly procedure for this rifle. I followed it for working on my own model 25.
