Kahles-Wien scope question
A friend brought this over and I need your help on an age and of what it might be worth. Looks like it had soldered mounts on it at one time or another. I thought it was a WW2 sniper scope, but I don't think they were variable back then. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It may have been originally on a European QD claw mount system. Many of these were soldered to the scope as they were intended to always return to zero. I don't know what kind of solder would have been used or how much heat would have to be applied to the tube for a bond. These were often done post-WW II. 0
