THX for your response. What I should have said is rechamber to the 6mm Ack. Imp. I can't seem to find the shoulder dia. for the 6mm AI. THX

  Per John Donnelly's book Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions the .244/6mm Remington Ackley Improved has two versions, one with a 25.7 degree shoulder has a base to shoulder length of 1.725" and shoulder diameter of .468"; while the 40 degree shoulder design is slightly longer to the shoulder at 1.8" with approximately the same diameter.
