.40 Smith Powder Selection
Looks like HS7 is a good one for 180 grain loads. I like Hodgdon powders.
Thoughts?? For a Glock 22...

You have HS7?
I haven't seen any in years.0 -
I'm using 4.3 grains of Titegroup under a Berry's 180 bullet in my Glock 35. It's a fairly light load for plinking and IDPA. Titegroup seems to burn pretty clean, too. 0 -

No.... I don't load much pistol ammo, only .41 Magnum. Is HS7 gone away?0 -
I use Power Pistol for both 180 and 155, plated or not.
Have used some Silouette as well.0 -
Titegroup for target loads. 0 -
Yes, HS7 aka WW571 has been discontinued about ten years. As for 40 S&W, my son had some loaded up a while back and used the Berry 165 FMJ and Vihtavuori 3N38 and it seems to work very well. 0 -
Longshot for 165's, AA-7 for 180's and AA-5 for 165's and down, is what I use. In a pinch I also use Clays and International Clays. International works and meters better. Clays takes very little charge for most weights. 0
