CZ BRNO ARMS .22 MAG TAKEDOWN
Anyone know if these are any good. I have heard that most .22 mags are very troublesome. Thanks

Unlike the their across the pond counterparts here in the USA, the folks at BRNO, actually developed their rifle, before they released it, several years ago. It is a good runner, and fairly accurate.
You are correct, that most of the 22WMR semi-auto's made hhere on a large production scale, have problems, save the folks at Volquartsen. The Ruger was a fine rifle too, but lacked in sales, until it was discontinued, then everybody wanted one.

I've never gotten a Czech lemon.
BRNO makes some really fine stuff, and all of it goes Bang.0 -
Ammo sensitivity is sometimes a problem with semi-autos. As the other posters have pointed out, Czech guns have a very good rep. If you have a opportunity to acquire one at a reasonable price, don't hesitate.
Although the problems we're having now obtaining rimfire ammo, might cause difficulties in obtaining different brands and variations. I'm sure you will be able to find some, that the Czech rifle functions well with.0 -
