Can anyone supply an approximate DOM for a model 97, s/n 166561? I'm going off memory on the s/n, but if that isn't correct, it's within a few hundred. TIA for any help.

Thanks guys!! Now next question. Would it be in a s/n range that could have been a trench gun in WWI?

  April 1902, and it is a "C" series gun.

  No... it is way too early for it to be an authentic WW I Trench Gun. The first WW I Trench Guns are in the 669000 serial number range.
