Walther P-99 ???

I have a walther P-99 bought new in '99 when first brought in from Germany. It is about 98% with the front edge of the slide showing little holster wear. Only about 500rds through it. Has all the sights-back straps-three 10rd factory-one aftermarket high mags with it. Can only find the S&W model on the other side. What do you guys think it is worth [?]
Planning on selling it.

    If none of our folks can help? You might consider posting to the Walther forum. I believe they have a specific P 99 board.

    There's a couple of them listed on the auction site now. Asking price for used German ones appears to be about $500-550. That sounds about right to me.

    The factory high-cap mags are made by Mec-Gar and they're not cheap. . .you can probably add another $30 for yours.

    I've always liked these guns, but they never really made much of an impact on the American market. I think its because the "Anti-Stress" trigger is a big offputting, plus a lot of people shy away from DA/SA guns (ie especially compared to the no-safety single-pull Glocks).

    So that's the Glock-like trigger, right? (IE gun is partially cocked, and every trigger pull is identical). I think this one is the most popular; its certainly the simplest to understand.

    Personally, I really like the standard (or once standard) A/S trigger. Its confusing until/unless you've actually handled the gun, then it becomes pretty intuitive. Its actually a well-thought out system. Regardless, I don't know how the various trigger variations affect the value of the gun. I suspect QA/AS doesn't affect it very much, though there is probably less demand for the DA-only variant.
