Brander apparently was quite prolific. Bunch of Brander marked pistols, including modern made replicas. Are brought up when GOOGLEing.

If none of our folks can give you any specific help as far as current FMV is concerned. Probably best to go that rout in your research.

IMHO. Antique firearms usually have there greatest value in their country(s) of origin. If you could make direct contact over the net with a collector in GB, using our auction. Without going through local dealers or auction houses, higher price for the pistol will be realized.

    upacreekk,

Photobucket has "conveniencedized" their site, so much so, that it is full of Javascripts that slow down everything. Some of their "buttons" don't always appear quickly, and some functions don't work on every computer that I can access Photobucket on. Here are you photographs:

That's a nice looking pistol, probably a late 1700's officer's gun due to the style. I suggest you go to http://www.antiqueguns.com/phorum/list.php?6 and post your question there. Bill Curtis frequents that forum and is a world-renown expert on British firearms and a former Royal Armourer. You can reference this thread so your pictures can be viewed.
