Kimber 14+1 Polymer Stainless ???

Just picked up a Kimber 45 ACP Double stack in Polymer Stainless and loaded the mag 14 yep 14 + 1 in the chamber.The only stamping on it is BUL ISRAEL KIMBER YONKERS NY USA. Sights are sqared target non adj. and adj. skel. trigger Please send any information. Didn't see anything in the usual places.

  I have the same gun in a Commander size. Excellent pistol, lots of firepower in a light weight package, one of my favorite 1911's!
  The polymer lower is made in israel and the upper is all Kimber, at least on my pistol. I believe at some point, Kimber made their own polymer frames for the production run.
