how can i find out if a particular pistol is c&r eligible?

  Going to be rough. Firearms International, imported some in the 60's before they went out of business. They were sold as a combination gun, similar to the one in this add off the net. As the French didn't use dated proof marks like other European countries, hard to establish DOM of a particular firearm.
